"The virtue of love is not to find the perfect person... but to love the imperfect person PERFECTLY.
"I want to REFRESH my mind, DELETE all my problems, UNDO my mistakes and SAVE the happy moments."
"I will never be your first kiss, first love, first valentine, first fight or first date... but I'm not in this to be your first anything, I just want to be your last."
"It's not going to bed with someone that proves you love them, it's waking up with them every morning and facing life's challenges together."
Just had a movie marathon of Nicholas Spark's movies in one day while multi tasking on doing laundry, cleaning, cooking (for our food for the next 3 days) and baking... I started with Dear John, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Safe Haven, and lastly, Message in the Bottle.
I love "The Notebook" the most. It made me cried a bucket! It was the best love story ever. I've been asking my husband to watch it but he won't since it's a love story. If you haven't watch this movie, it is a must!
My second choice was "Message in the Bottle"... it has a tragic ending, but still a beautiful love story.

This blog is officially 9 years old this month!!! I can't believe how far I have gone with this blog. It started so innocent, and then I started making some money out of it... and then I stopped making money out of it... and now, I don't know where this would lead me.
I gain some friends through blogging... had conflict with some... but it's the friendship that blossom that I cherished the most!
Facebook has overtaken my blogging time... but you will still me some updates every now and then... I'm planning on making it personal again... no more post advertising (for now)! ",)
Taipei 101, formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center,
is a landmark skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan.
The building ranked officially as the world's tallest from 2004 till 2010...
It took me 45 seconds from the 5th floor to reached the 89th floor... I don't even feel the elevator moving until the door opens and I feel the pressure on my ears.
Taipei, Taiwan, October 15, 2013
This was my last day in Taipei, and I had to explore the city on my own. A bus ride, a train and another bus ride got me to Taipei 101. The mall is way too huge for me, and it carries all the expensive designer clothes, shoes and bags. If you love shopping, a day here is probably not enough for you!
Too bad I didn't get a chance to try these cakes... I was already so full from our dinner that I didn't think of ordering a cake anymore. :-( Besides, I didn't know what to order, they all look so yummy.
Now, I'm regretting it! I should have tried it and not think about my sugar level. Oh well, maybe on my next trip to Taiwan.

More pictures from Hello Kitty Kitchen and Dining here.
This restaurant brings back childhood memories... I love Sanrio products especially Hello Kitty, Little Twin Star and Zashikibuta. So having our dinner here is a must!

A visit to relatives in Taiwan, this is where they took us for lunch... Modern Toilet is the name of the restaurant. Do you think you will ever eat here?
Left pic: what greeted us when we enter the restaurant
Middle pic: our dining chairs
Right pic: bathtub for our dining table
Our hot pot soup...
Our drinks and bread...
And our dessert...
The food is actually not bad, and the price is right.

Again, I am going on a trip without my kids and my husband... the first time was to Bahamas last January 2013... this time I'm off to Taipei, Taiwan to attend my cousin's wedding. It's going to be a short trip since I can't leave my family any longer than a week.
Anyway, last time I saw my cousins in Taiwan were in the summer of 2008, during a 4 hour layover from our trip to the Philippines. It's time to spend more quality time with family.
So I'm off to drop off my kids to school and then I'm off to the airport to catch my flight at noon... Lord, please keep me safe and bless me on this trip. Thank you!
Ever wonder how they iron clothes during the time when electricity hasn't been discovered yet? This picture tells you how... By rolling the clothes on the "pin", one uses it's feet to move back and forth to iron out the clothes.
And this was the "palikuran" or bathroom. It got holes on them so that when you poop it goes straight to the pig pen which is situated just below the bathroom in most houses.
