My goal is 120... and I have done 38... I still have 82 to go... where can I get those 82???
If I reached my 120 goal, then it will be a sign for me to do something this coming June...
My goal
On Obesity
Obesity is a very common problem here in North America. Adult and children are being treated for obesity everyday. I just hope that I won't have that problem with my son. He just keep on growing everyday. He is as tall as me now and almost as big as his daddy. Should I be worried???
Read the review of generic adipex. It is a "prescription" weight loss supplement - "Phentermine". It is also an appetite suppressant used to treat obesity. Adipex was first approved by the FDA in 1959.
Proactiv
Adult acne is a very common problem today. I am just so lucky that my husband and I don't have acne problems. And I hope that my kids won't have that problems too when they approach their adulthood.
Anyway, if you are having acne problems, here are a few suggestion: Acnexus, Biodermazen, Acnetix and Proactiv. I knew a lot of people using Proactiv.
Embarrassing moment...
Just had an embarrassing moment at the Pharmacy 2 days ago. I was with my friend who needed to buy medication for hemorrhoid treatment. Since the doctor's office was already closed, she had to rely on over the counter medication. The pharmacist was an elderly gentlemen, and we just couldn't afford to ask him for recommendation. It took her almost an hour deciding whether to wait till the morning and see her family doctor, or to just ask this pharmacist. In the end, she decided to wait till the morning.
Morning comes and her family doctor is away on holiday. She ended up seeing the walk-in doctor, a young gentlemen.
Random
I gave birth to my 2 kids via C-section. And I have never gotten rid of my stretch marks. My friends told me to use some creams for it, but I never did. The stitches though is no longer visible.
Now, another friend is insisting that I try this cellulite treatment creams to get rid of those unsightly fat lying right below the fat. What do you think? Is it even worth trying?

Manila or Toronto?
My favorite cousin is getting married in June in Boracay. I wanted to go home and see him get married, but because it is in June, I can't decide whether to pull out my kids from school or not attend at all. It will be hard to pull out Patrick since he is in Junior high and the wedding will be on their exam week. I still have yet to ask permission from the school.
If not, I've been wanting to visit my friends in Toronto. And right now, I saw some really good deals on Toronto hotels.
I can't afford both trips. Toronto will definitely be cheaper for us... but the wedding also means family reunion and I really wanted to be there.
I guess I will just to wait and see if I can find cheap airfare to Manila, if not, then Toronto it is.
Wordless Wednesday: Skiing and Snowboarding
Fun time at Calgary Olympic Park! It's my 3rd time and my daughter's 2nd time @ skiing... and my son's first try @ snowboarding.

Designer names?
I told my husband that I will go and move to where ever he finds a job. My only condition is that there should be a Wal-Mart nearby. I'm happy shopping at Wal-Mart.
I don't know designer clothes, jeans, bags, shoes and even designer ties from the local or cheap ones. I mean I know some brand names, but you will never see me buy those items with outrageous prices for myself. And, if and when you did see me with one, then it only means it's a gift from family or friends.
Casual or Formal?
We are more of a jeans and t-shirt people. We like it casual and informal. So attending a formal event can be very exciting and at the same time a huge headache on what to wear. I don't have any gowns nor formal dresses, my husband doesn't have any suit nor tuxedos too. So we tend to turn down formal invitations unless they are family occasion.
I will survive
"Life is like riding a bicycle. You don't fall off unless you plan to stop peddling." ~ Claude Pepper
I consider myself as a survivor. I know there are lots of people who went through a more difficult and challenging life than I do. But with all that I've been through, and knowing where I stand right now, I am thankful to God that He didn't give me anything that I couldn't handle. And I believe that whatever He gives me, as long as I don't stop peddling, I will be able to handle it in my own way. Are you a survivor?
On working out
My family has really got to start on working out. Everybody, except my daughter, is gaining weight. We had a gazelle here, but because it is placed in the basement, nobody wants to go there for workout. I can't put it in the bedroom as it will occupy a huge space. So I'm thinking of buying something smaller, like a stationary bike or maybe a dip bar. The only question is, how to motivate my son, my husband and myself to use it!
On souvenirs
Weddings now a days are quite expensive unlike when I got married 15 years ago... Everything was simple then, no wedding planner, no live band, no long speeches, and no gimmicks. There were no bridesmaid or groomsmen gifts that the bride and groom had to worry about. All they need is just one simple souvenir for everybody, most especially the ladies. And another set for the godparents. Time has truly changed...
Laptops and warranty
When we first bought our desktop, we included a 4-year extended warranty. And even though I was able to take advantage of what I paid for, I still believe that extended warranty is just a big rip off.
So when I bought my laptop, I didn't get any extended warranty. Right now, I'm regretting not getting extended warranty because this laptop of mine seems to be having so much problems and it is just 1.5 years old.
I ask my husband to find me some really good laptop deals as I want a new one!

RV
My husband and I love to drive around and discover new places. And we dream of owning an RV someday so we can drive from coast to coast and take extended vacation. Or maybe we could just rent one for 1-2 weeks and see where it would take us.
Anyway, a friend of mine is selling their RV because they wanted a bigger one. They don't use their RV to drive from coast to coast, but they use it mainly for camping. RV repair is needed though before they can put it up on sale. Anybody interested?
The Psychological Effect of Growing Old
I have a healthy life so to speak. I don't usually get sick.
Finding a family doctor in Canada can be pretty hard. I was lucky to find one easily when we first migrated. But when we decided to relocate to another province, I couldn't get one until 4 months ago. As I said it wasn't much of a problem having no family doctor since none of us has any recurring illness. The only problem is that we couldn't get any physical exam done during the last 3 years.
So now that we've got a family doctor the first thing that I requested is a physical exam for all of us. When I was having my one-on-one interview with the doctor, it came out that my BP is a bit high. And when she did it again, it went much higher. I feel like I was really relaxed at that time, but obviously my BP doesn't agree with me. That was last week.
Today, I had my urine and blood test and also mammogram. My very first mammogram ever, and it hurts a lot! And as soon as I got home, I felt tired and fell asleep. My dream feels so real at that time! It scares the hell out of me! Included in my dream was an individual dress in black cloak holding something in the hands and I was in a dark room with all doors that opens to nothing. And I keep saying "I don't want to die yet"... and then my alarm went off and it was time for me to pick up my son from the bus stop.
Not knowing what the outcome of my mammogram, pap test, blood and urine tests are, I'm already waiting in anticipation. And it scares me even in my sleep.
Thursday Thirteen: More Facebook Status
Last week it was a list of funny statuses... this week's about some life lessons...

Just some random wall status that you can put on your Facebook
- Make sure that when you give your heart away, it's to someone who had hands strong enough to hold it forever yet gentle enough to hold it without breaking it.
- Trust is like a mirror - once its broken, its never seen the same again and no matter how hard you try to put it back together, the cracks will always show.
- The greatest mistake in the world is to pretend to be someone you're not in order to please someone else. Have the courage to be yourself, no matter what.
- Sing your hear out. Dance in the rain. Cherish the memories. Ignore the pain. Love and learn. Forget and forgive because remember you only have 1 life to live.
- FOUR things you can't recover: The stone... after the throw. The word... after it's said. The occasion... after it's missed. The time... after it's gone.
- Whether you care to admit it or not, every person that passes through your life changes you in some way, or teaches you something... one day you will know.
- Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what other thinks you are.
- Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever.
- I guess the reason we cherish memories so much is because they're the only things in life that can never change.
- Smile until it hurts, laugh until you cry, love like you never have been broken, pray with faith, live in the moment, remember the good times, let go of the bad.
- I'm NOT Stubborn. I'm determined. There's a difference.
- Don't put your self esteem in the hands of others. Know who you are and let your light shine regardless of the opinions of others.
- Did you ever realize that good friends are hard to find, that is because all the BEST ones are already mine!

On continuous learning
I am done with 4 courses of my photography class. I still need to take 4 more courses if I want to get the Certificate, but that will have to wait till the end of tax season. My initial intention for taking the courses is to be more knowledgeable about photography, learn to take better pictures, learn exposure and posing postures and maximize the use of my DLSR. But it was already too much information for me to process and I need to practice and practice what I learn to become a good photographer.
Continuous learning is very essential in Canada and USA. People are always looking to change their career and hoping to find better jobs and better pay in the future. Here is an example of in demand course right now, the HIT degree [Health Information Technology Online Associate Degree]. Do check it out.
Northwestern College offers three associate¹s degree (AAS) programs online: [1] Business Administration, [2] Criminal Justice and [3] Health Information Technology. NC are Regionally Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and
are a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Tax season
Tax season is here and I will be very busy again for the next few weeks. This is my 6th year at doing taxes and every tax season, I noticed that I lose weight. I eat at odd hours, lack of sleep with double job, and then combine it with family responsibilities... yes, definitely it's a time to lose some unwanted pounds. I just wish that I could keep it off for the rest of the year.
Anyway, is there really such a thing as a diet plans that work? Check out that link and find out for yourself. I know I wouldn't need that till the end of tax season.
Have you been sleeping well?
When I was a stay at home mom, I used to have a hard time sleeping. It got to the point where I started searching and asking around for the best sleeping pills.
But then, I started working, and with the odd hours of my work, I don't have that problem anymore. Sleep seems to come to me faster than before. I wish I could be like my husband though, who can sleep anywhere, anytime, and in any position, all he need to do is close his eyes.
