Scuba Diving

Who said you can't try scuba diving if you can't swim? I know that one can! I've tried it and I don't even know how to swim or even float! It was a wonderful experience indeed. My first and only one so far...

This was one of my most memorable date with my then boyfriend, now husband in the beautiful island of Coron, Palawan (Philippines) 11 years ago - today!

now i know i don't have to be a great swimmer to scuba dive.

i've always been scared and since i don't consider myself a confident swimmer i didn't want to try it.

i have always been afraid of the water since i was about 8 years old when i almost drown in one of the beaches in Batangas... and i carry this traumatic experience until now...

when i realize that we were at 20 feet under, i started to feel suffocated and scared, and had to tell the instructor that i want to go back up. so medyo bitin (especially to my hubby who loves the water very much), kasi we were seeing beautiful corals and colorful small fishes...

sayang lang at wala kaming camera to capture that moment!

next time we visit Philippines, we will try to make time to visit Coron again!
