Tag #5: Random Facts

I got tagged by Des... here's 10 random facts about me...

  1. I can speak, read and write in Tagalog, English, Fookien and Mandarin... I also studied Nihonggo and Spanish in college.

  2. I'm insomniac as far back as I could remember.

  3. I love pictures, albums and scrapbooking. Despite having a tight budget, I will always make sure I have money allotted for this passion of mine.

  4. I love shopping but I hate 'window shopping.' To me, 'window shopping' is a waste of time. Sometimes I would offer my friends to do their shopping for them. At least I got to go to the mall, shop and not spend a nickel. ",)

  5. I don't wear make-up at all... I don't know how to apply make-up... but sometimes you'll see me with lipstick and that's it. The only time I wore full make-up [done professionally] was during my prom night, graduation and wedding day, and formal parties.

  6. When we first migrated, all I know about the computer is using Word, Excel and Lotus Notes for office emails... I don't even know how to surf the net nor chat... now, I spend most of my time in front of the computer, learning new things everyday, and I do house chores on my breaktime... hehehe... [I know I know. Its suppose to be the other way around].

  7. I don't know anything about sports... I used to play bowling and volleyball and that was it.

  8. I don't know how to swim. Yes, I know its shocking to a lot of people but I had a traumatic experience when I was a kid.

  9. Movies and tv makes me cry... and I remember a few 'selected' commercials makes me teary-eyed too [though I can't remember which commercial/s it was].

  10. I need the sound of tv on the background when I do chores, blog or anything else... even though I am not really watching.

To everyone who read this: Tag, its your turn!

same here. I like to keep the TV on esp. when i'm alone even when i'm not watching. it keeps me company. I can play music from the stereo but I don't know, i feel more like I have someone with me when the TV's on than the stereo. sounds weird.

Hi Jo, thanks for sharing this to us, and now, I know a little bit about you.

I admire your number 1, keep it up. Ginagamit nyo ba ang mandarin dialect pag sa bahay? Do you teach your children too?

Hmmm, number 5, same here. Some people say, kahit lipstick lang parang si osang na daw ako.

Hi Des,

Glad to answer your tag since I'm running out of things to blog.. hehehe.

I remember one of the commercial that made me cry was a PLDT commercial.

Hi Analyse,

Sayang lang at di ako marunong mag French... hope to learn the language soon.

Hi Evi,

I don't really listen to music at home... ewan ko ba, parang na stuck na sa 80s ang mga kantang gusto ko. wala na akong alam sa mga singer ngayon.

Hi Raquel,

Sad to say, my kids doesn't speak tagalog, fookien and mandarin. They can understand tagalog a little. But they know Spanish courtesy of Dora the Explorer. :-)

I don't wear make-up either! I don't know how to wear make-up. I have face powder, one lipstick and the occasional liquid blush. That's it!

Hi Jo,
I used to watched Mandarin movies when I was in Singapore. Of course may subtitle yon or else hindi ko maintindihan.

Ako din I never use any computer in my School days. Kaya dito na sa Canada ako natuto. Wala akong kaalam-alam. When I started building my website I learned a lot including how to copy and paste.

Hi Cruise, halos nakalimutan ko na ang nihonggo, wala kasing makausap eh. kulang na sa practice.

Hi Toni, thanks for the link.

Hi Agring, we just have to cope with the current technology... hehehe... mahirap na maiwanan!
