Monday Madness #1

Instruction: Using the letters in your name (first, last, both, whatever), describe your life!

Got this from Rach... and thought I'd try it out.

Joy of Motherhood... ever since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to be a mother some day, and I hope that I could raise my kids like my mama raised me.

Overly protective mom... I feel that my kids will always be my babies, no matter how old they get, and I just have a hard time letting go of them. I know this should change because they are growing up right before my eyes.

Caring Mom, wife, daughter, sister, cousin and friend.

Energetic... I may not be athletic, but I always have the energy for outdoor activities/picnics and travelling with family and friends.

Love is what keeps our family together! Let us all embrace Life and Live it to the fullest!

Yearning for more romance... please don't get me wrong, there's no doubt in my mind that hubby loves me a lot, he is just not "romantic" enough ever since we had our kids and especially when we came to Canada! [wink] How could we afford to go on "romantic" dates with 2 kids in tow? Or even if we left the kids with friends, we just couldn't enjoy our time together without thinking of getting back to the kids the soonest possible time? I guess we will enjoy our "romantic" dates again when our kids are in college! The cycle of married life!

Nurturing in my own kind of way... my inlaws may not agree with me 100%, still it is my way of nurturing my kids.

Want to play along? Visit Monday Madness and join the fun.

Hi Jo. It's nice to know that you decided to join in the fun. Thanks for the link.

The joy of motherhood is a wonderful blessing. Same here, I'm also a rather overprotective mom. Good thing, my husband is there to set the balance. I agree, love keeps every family tightly bonded. Oh my, I also sometimes yearn for more romance too. Sometimes, when my husband and I go out without my son, we end up talking about him and missing him. Your family is very lucky to have someone as nurturing as you.

Take care!

Welcome to Monday Madness. :)

I think all moms are overly protective (my mom still is, and I'm 34!) All the rest, except for the yearning for romance, are great qualities to have in your life. :) I'm fortunate that I have a romantic husband, but we also don't have any children!

Have a good week. :)

Kids grow up way too fast! My oldest just had her 17th birthday! I don't know where my baby went! She starts college next year. Loved reading your answers!

Hi Rach,
This is a good way to blog too, at least I don't really have to think of the topic, just join in the fun! Now I have Monday Madness and I also have the Thursday Thirteen...

Hi Caylynn,
You're lucky! You should let your hubby knows how much you appreciate his romantic side.

Hi Dawn,
Welcome to my blog! My son is saying that he will be "a decade" old in a few more weeks... makes me feel old.

Sometimes, over protection with our children can cause rebellion, I hope not.

It's hard to tell in letter Y since the kids are in college that time. Both of you are working hard I guess, mahal na ang tuition. I hope, dates and romances are still there though.

What a lovely way to know you more... I like your Y, so very true.

You are such a great mommy, JO. Your kids must be very proud of you.

BTW, thanks for your kind message in my blog.

Happy packing!

Hi Jo, I love reading your list of answers, especially your yearning for romance (somehow it seems to be hidden somewhere inside a mother's heart) :) Your kids are blessed to have such a loving mother.

Hi Raquel,
I guess all moms tend to be over protective of their little ones... I do hope and pray that they will not become rebellious.

Hi Joy and Fenny,
I'm a big s*cker for romantic movies... and I know that guys can be romantic if they want to be, right? Oh well, I knew that about my husband even before I said "I do"! ",)
