Last week

Calgary was covered with snow! If I'm not mistaken, we got a total of 44cm of snow in the month of February.

This week, the sun is finally out and temperature was at the high of 16C [feels like spring already]... Thanks to Chinook!

But wait, Calgary's weather predicts more snow in the month of March than in February. So I guess winter is not yet over.

Hi Irene,
Thanks! I'm so glad for this week's weather.

Hi Faye,
Saan ba ang sister mo?

Hi Ann,
That's winter in North America!

Hi Pao,
Melted na nga ang snow this week eh.

Hi Meeya,
Nope. I expected it to be much much colder than Toronto. But right now, Toronto is still in the below zero temp, while we are experiencing spring like temp.

Hi Liz,
Thanks! Enjoy your weekend too!

Hi Evi,
The only thing I don't like about the weather here is the dryness. So different from Toronto.

Hi Jo. The trees covered in snow remind me of Christmas. I guess you long for a refreshing change. I hope that spring will knock on your door soon.

Happy weekend!

ang labo, i was typing something kanina and suddenly i lost it.

anyway, as i was saying, i want to feel kahit once lang, the calgary type of winter. i want to know how cold is -30C and just how high the snow can get. afterwards i will go back to the hot and humid weather of the middle east :)

Hi Patrice,
We do have Groundhog day too. And it seems like spring is early this year.

Hi Rach,
You know, Calgary barely had a white Christmas. Snow usually comes in January. Mas maganda sana kung Christmas day eh covered ng snow ang mga pine trees.

Hi Gracita,
If you're going on tour, I wouldn't recommend winter time, kasi baka ma cancel lang ang flights niyo and you will not enjoy it very much due to shorter days. Sunrise can be as late as 9 am while sunset can be as early as 3 pm. But yes, it would be a nice experience for you.
