This happened when we were in Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park. The icefield was very very cold and windy. Before we stop the car to go down and explore --
My FIL said: "Can we stop by the washroom?"
Hubby: "There's no washroom here, we'll just go back to the info center for the washroom." [Info center was about 5 kms back]
After taking pictures for about 20 minutes [none of us could stay out very long as it is very very windy], we decided to leave.
Hubby asked: "Dad, do you still need to go to the washroom? Should we go back to the info center or go forward?"
FIL jokingly said: "We can go forward. I think its frozen now." [Referring to his urine being frozen from the cold weather.] :-)
My kids couldn't stop giggling when they heard this.
My FIL lived in Beijing, China on and off for the past 5 years, so he is used to cold weather, but he just have a hard time adjusting to the cold weather in Canada.
