In case you haven't seen my countdown banner on top, we are all going home this June to attend my brother-in-law's wedding! I am really really excited about this trip since it will be the first time for Patrick to wear a Barong Tagalog and a first for Patricia as Junior Bride's Maid!
The best part about this trip though is we were able to purchase our tickets for C$890/adult and C$677/child. This is the cheapest airfare we've seen!!! So for those travelling from North America to Asia, you might want to check out www.toureast.com.[This is not a paid ad.]

I think Filipinos can't live without their cellphones anymore. Anybody can basically own a cellphone now-a-days. The maid, the pedicab/tricycle/taxi/jeepney drivers have their own cellphones. So if your cellphone runs low on battery, you can just charge them here. Don't know if its free though.

Pardon the picture, I used my cellphone's [low tech] camera to take this picture.

Happy Valentine's Jo!
Hi Linnor,
The TV was showing a Santa Claus movie at that time...
Hi Ghee,
Yup, and I am excited!
Hi Junnie,
I thought you're leaving Feb? Di natuloy?
I see those Nokia chargers everywhere but haven't tried them. I think it's a free service.
A TV screen in the bathroom, that's new.
Hi Rach,
I guess whoever wants to use the Nokia charger have to stay with their cell the whole time, which is really time consuming!
The Nokia charging stations are free. Just make sure you watch your cellphone while you charge it over there. You wouldn't want to lose your precious Nokia phone :)
Belated happy valentine's day :) I'm sure you had a great one :)
Great bargain on the tickets. I'm sure it's going to be one another fruitful trip back home :D Hope we can meet again for coffee or dessert :D
Hi Liz,
I guess nobody really uses it that much since it will take you more than 30 minutes to recharge a cellphone. I hope we can get together again with Rach... I'll let you know once I know our schedule/itinerary.
we have those small screens in the washroom at Aberdeen Mall here.
gosh! mas hi-tech pa yata sa pinas. can you imagine may charging dock sila sa mall? grabe!
buti ka pa uwi ka na naman. mura yang ticket nyo ha.
Hi Evi,
Yes, too cheap actually. I've never seen tickets below $1000 before.
