Our first 4 days

Day 1 - Saturday - Family Day

We arrived at 10am and had family lunch till about 3pm. Then we all [with my in-laws] went to Landmark, Makati to buy shoes for the kids [for the wedding] and then proceeded to the bazaar at the Fort for more shopping... I only bought the necessities like socks and underwear for the kids.

And then in the evening, I met up with my cousins and their families. One of them was leaving for Taiwan the next day. And I haven't seen her for more than 8 years already. We had dinner at Conti's at the Fort. We got home past 10pm already and really sleepy.

Ahhh... FAMILY! We missed them terribly!

Day 2 - Sunday - Pamper day

Hubby and I went to Mall of Asia for some pampering... first I went to get a full body massage at Marionnaud at 2pm... then proceeded to have my hair done at Ystilo... while hubby went on shopping and had his massage at 5pm. We met up at 7pm and proceeded to Kultura to buy barong for Patrick and some other souvenirs. It will be a first for Patrick to wear barong.

Day 3 - Monday - Business day

We had to deal with a lot of paper works. First we had to meet up with the buyer and iron out some final details. Then we had to get a Residence certificate [cedula] and then I had to get some "certified true copies" of some legal documents. The waiting time wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was in and out of Paranaque City hall in less than 2 hours. And I had to deal with 4 departments.

Later in the evening, we went to Shopwise for some grocery shopping. I bought a few grocery items that I will be bringing back to Canada.

Day 4 - Tuesday - Final Business transaction and Movie night

Today, we signed off paper works in the morning. The sale of our townhouse in Paranaque is now final! We still have to pay for the capital gains but my brother in law have volunteered to do this for us since he knows we have limited time.

Hubby and Patrick went to have a haircut... so I have time to blog before we go out for more shopping! ",)

In the evening, we watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with the kids and also dropped off Boss and the 2 maids to watch Caregiver. 10 people for movies plus popcorns and drinks costs us almost P 1,800 already! Wow that is really a lot in pesos but cheaper if I converted it to Canadian.

Hi Jo, it's been awhile since I last visited. I've changed my template and lose all my blog roll links. Good thing I saw your name on Rachel's blog. Anyway, glad to know you're back here in Manila even for a short visit...

Hi Evi,
Yes, no time for jetlag... I need to make the most out of it.

Hi Ann,
Sayang di tayo nagabot.

Hi Liz,
Thanks! I already went back to Marionnaud. I just loved the service there even if its a bit expensive.

Hi Rowena,
Welcome back. I'll visit your blog when I have the time to bloghop. Thanks!

Hi Rach,
Thanks! It's been busy but we were able to accomplish a lot!

Hi Tani,
I can't do anything about the hot weather, so what's the point of complaining? Thanks!

Hi Raquel,
I'm going to get another body massage before we leave.
