Her birthday wish

My daughter is starting to develop her interest in taking pictures. When I am with group of friends, she would always be the photographer if we wanted our group picture taken.

She wanted her own digital cameras for her upcoming birthday. Yes, she said "digital cameras" in plural form because she wants more than 1. She said she wanted to be like me. I have 3 digital cameras already and all in perfect condition. Maybe I should just pass one to her. What do you think?

Yes, you should. First, she learns the skill. Second, she should know how to take care of expensive things, lastly, you will have more pics with you and hubby....

Well, I think she is old enough to handle real camera. That's funny how you mention this because my daughter wants a real camera too. She grabbed one when we were at the camera store.
Anyway advance happy birthday to Patricia.

I think that would be a nice gift for her. You can teach her about the different functions of the camera and how to take good care of it.

LOL! You just have to stress on the plural form ;)

Passing her one? Why not! :)

Photography is a healthy hobbies and she can learn a lot from you and will be good bonding for both of you to talk about photography :)

My daughter has turned out to be a much better photographer than I am! She has put her native artistic skills to good use in taking some wonderful photos! Much better than any I could ever take.

I got a new digi cam too and now I am more at ease to let my daughter take photos on the old digi cam.

so go ahead, your daughter can have one. I'm sure she'll love it.

Why she needs more than one? Maybe, its a way of telling you, she wants both of your old ones?

Happy Bday to your precious daughter!

I think it would be wiser to give her one of your cameras then when she gets the hang of it (and is still nterested in Photography) then that would be the time to buy her one :)

Hi Denden, Tin, Leah and Duke,
I'm just scared she might lose it or broke it. Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

I think you should. I'm sure she'll be delighted and her interest in photography would be heightened even more.
