Ooohhh! I love red. I'm not brave enough to paint a whole room red though. LOL

Wow. Even the closet and closet doors. We rented a house for about 6 months last year, and the master bedroom was painted green (I do like the color green). There was no molding, and they'd painted the ceiling green as well, so it was like living inside a kiwi. Of course, our daughter's room was painted a lovely shade of pumpkin guts.

It looks really cool but not sure I could live in it daily. The kids would love it though!!

Yikes! Even inside the closets? Oh well, it could be dizzying stripes everywhere you look (even over the windows) like in I Love Lucy, lol.

I have a red bedroom, but a deep red not that bright.

Someone that really likes red ! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the link to yours !

Hi Everyone,

A friend of mine bought this house... the owner just painted it. And because its winter, they will do their re-painting in the summer... so for the meantime, they have to live with this color!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hmmm...I could see maybe a darker red or a cranberry color, but that red is really RED!!

Happy WW! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!

The red is a little much. But I hate those curtains! (hope those aren't your friends:)

Ordinary Mom said...

It is definitely different!! Happy WW!

I'm the Mom said...

Wow that is different. Too bold for me. Maybe it's just because I don't like red in general.

JO said...

Hi Moreygirl,

Nope. The curtains comes with the house... I think they will be replacing it as soon as they settle down.

To everybody,

Happy WW! Thanks for visiting.

It might be too bold to live in, but it makes a great photo.

Pretty!

That's one very lively master bedroom. Happy WW! :)

Maybe there was a sale on red paint? I agree - it is a little too bold for a bedroom. I could see it in a den though with lots of oak woodwork and oak furniture! Happy WW and thanks for stopping by!

My daughter would love this room - red is her favorite color.

Me? I think I would paint a fire hose and a dalmation on the wall. :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blogs Jo!

Actually I think it looks pretty nice! Curtains could use replacing. With some nice artwork to make the room pop alittle, I think it's great!

chelle said...

hehe that is an intense red!

Nikowa said...

Wow & that's not cranberry or burgundy, that's RED! :)

I'm having trouble sleeping in my yellow bedroom because the color is too "exciting".

Happy WW

Red is one of my fave colors, although not sure if I'd do my master bed with it. :)

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog. I agree that is one very red room. Don't think I could handle it for long.

I would maybe do a deep red with some victorian wall borders, but I don't know. To each their own, I guess.

I can't imagine having a RED room...even though I do love red.

JO said...

Hi Junnie,
Of course NOT!!! I wouldn't dare use that color! I like neutral colors.

That is a lot of red - fire engine red! I could do one wall maybe but not the whole room. I don't think it would induce restfulness either.

Wow! I once had a red bedroom, back in the sixties ;O)

JO said...

Hi to ALL!

This is just to let you know that this is NOT MY bedroom... a friend of ours recently bought this place and they can't re-paint right now since winter is almost here... and it was just newly painted by the old owners, they need to wait at least a year before re-painting.

I would NEVER choose a bright color such as red for my bedroom... I prefer neutral colors.

THANK YOU all for visiting!!!

Shasta said...

That's really funny because we painted our master bedroom almost that exact color of red in our old house!

netta said...

Holy moly -- that's quite...red.

Heh! Happy WW!

Jen said...

I like red but that's pretty intense. It's going to take a lot of primer to get rid of it.

I guess it all comes with painting the town red.
