I changed my sched from full time to part time at the airport. I now work Sundays and Tuesdays, from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm. And the rest of the week, I work at the tax company for an average of 10-12 hours a day. Yes, I am working 7 days a week just to save up for something "big" and our upcoming Manila trip.
I know I work long hours doing taxes, but I don't really feel tired at all because I love what I am doing. I mean I do get tired, but I don't mind the long hours. I get to relax in between anyway since its not busy all day. And I can wake up at 7am, leave work at 8:30 and be at the office at 9am.
Unlike at the airport, it is really hard to be waking up at 4am in the morning to go to work and it gets to be boring sometimes too especially when its not busy. And I always feel sleepy and tired.
But today, I took a day off... the good thing about doing taxes is that I get to choose my own time. And my Manager has granted me a little flexibility on my sched. My MIL has been here for a little over 2 weeks now and we have not taken her anywhere yet. So today, we are going on a 2-hour road trip to Drumheller, Dinosaur capital of the world.
The family is still having their breakfast right now so I have a spare time to update my blog.
