3-tiered Diaper Cake

Today, we decided to throw a surprised baby shower to a friend of ours. It's her 3rd baby, but ever since I saw this diaper cake in several blogs, my hands has been itching to make one. So I decided to make one for her, hence the baby shower.

First, gather up all the materials that you will need -- at least 70 pieces of medium diapers, ribbons, baby bottles, toys, spoons, bibs, mittens and socks... and whatever you may think of...

Then, start rolling up the diapers... this part takes time...

Start decorating...

Move things around...

And here's the final outcome. I was able to convince my friend to show her tummy while we were at the park 2 weeks ago, and I'm sure she will treasure this picture which I decided to add to her diaper cake.

Wow, this is cool and you're so creative. How much did you spend for this?

Yung baby shower ko kay Maria, I had a diaper wreath naman.

I've seen it on other blogs too. It's great that you've tried it. I think you did a wonderful job. The picture adds a sweet touch.

I'd love to make my own when an opportunity comes.
