Time to organize

I went shopping last week. I wanted to organize my living room because I have been having guests from time to time and my living room is basically empty except for a couch and a center table.

I bought a TV stand/console that has enough storage to hold some of my photo albums. What's my theme? It's all about rocks. I'll share a picture of my living and dining room once delivery has been made. I guess that's what you call modern furniture these days?
