Grade 6 yearbook a big success!

Today, my daughter graduated grade 6. She is moving to a different school this coming September and she will be in middle school.

I am so glad that I volunteered to be part of the yearbook committee on my daughter's school. I missed a lot of the meetings, but I was there when it counted the most. I did half of the yearbook pages while another parent did the other half. Combined, it was just simply great. A treasure to be cherished forever! Each yearbook's cover page has been personalized to each student in the class. Absolutely perfect!

Unfortunately, I can't post it here as it contains pictures of other kids whose parents are against posting their kids' pictures online. I just have to respect that.

My Cityville is growing...

And yes, I am still playing... :-)

Separation Anxiety Attack

Time is moving so fast. I can't believe that my kids are teenagers now and in 16 days they will be traveling on their own. I am sending both of them to my sis-in-law for the summer. They are going to be there for 5 weeks! Are they ready to be on their own? Or should I ask, am I ready to let them go??? Don't really have a choice now since their tickets are already booked.

My daughter is graduating grade 6 and my son is graduating fro middle school, grade 9. So this is sort of their graduation gifts. The house will be too quiet once they leave... I hope they won't feel homesick. Just thinking about it, I am sure going to miss them!
