Eyeglasses that makes you look sharp

This post brought to you by Zenni Optical. All opinions are 100% mine.

My son started wearing eyeglasses at the age of 7.  And since then, he had a new pair of eyeglasses every year.  They just won't last that long for him.  It would either get lost or broken.   And every time, I would get him a good pair of glasses, and it normally cost somewhere between $200 to $400.   It was a good thing that we have insurance that covers his glasses every year.

But for the past 2 years, I decided to buy him the cheapest one yet still stylish glasses.  He still got the best in terms of Emerging Technology Info Graphic with Zenni optical.   And I got them for less than $50 a pair, including shipping.   So I can actually afford to buy him an extra prescription sunglasses.

Just check out these rates -- Progressive glasses starts at $28.90...  bifocals starts from $23.95....  anti-glare coating is just $4.95.... sunglass tint extra $4.95... fingerprint resistant A/R coating for an extra $14.95...  and you don't have to worry about shipping costs.    Shipping within USA is only $4.95 while international shipping is only $9.95....  Now, is that worth checking out their website?  Definitely, Yes!  You just might be surprise at the other deals that you can find.

Just stumbled on your post about Zenni Optical. Thought I would share our experiences.

We learned about Zenni five years ago from a post similar to yours by another blogger. At that time I had just gotten my eyes examined and had a prescription for new glasses. The pair I was wearing was from Lens Crafters and cost me over $600.00. I could no longer afford to spend that kind of money so my husband ordered me a pair from Zenni.

I needed trifocal lenses and only wear wire frames and wanted the progressive tinting. They were less then one hundred dollars. When checked by my eye doctor I found the new glasses were perfect.

Since then I have ordered two more pair for myself. A pair for at least six other family members and two neighbors. All with no complaints.

My grandson was like your son. He need a new prescription every year and was constantly breaking his frames. After the second pair we ordered broke we got smart and started ordering a second pair of frames with no lenses with each new pair purchased. When he broke the frames my husband just put the lenses in the second pair of frames. He is now on his fifth prescription and the eighth pair of frames. All from Zenni. All for less then fifty dollars per complete pair and the frames only are usually about fifteen dollars.

I have even posted about my glasses and Zenni on my own blog.
You will find that post at this link:

I tell everyone we meet that wears glasses about them. Even angered my eye doctor because I told another one of his patients about Zenni and they stopped getting their glasses through the shop in his office. I thought he would tell me to find another doctor before our discussion was over.

He finally conceded that his glasses were expensive and that his patients had the right to shop anywhere they wanted too.

Bottom line is that I will never go back to buying my glasses at a retail price when I can get the same quality at a much cheaper price on line by waiting a short while for them to come in the mail right to my door.
