Believe in yourself!

I'm stronger because of my hard times, wiser because of my mistakes,
happier because of my sad experiences,
and smarter because of my moments of confusion.

We all go through different challenges in our lives. It could be about health, about money, about family or children or about work. It is different with everybody.

But in all of these challenges that we face, we should always remember that GOD will not give us something that we can't handle. So just trust HIM and HE will guide your way.

No matter how tough the past was, the future holds the key to true happiness, our bruises and scars just make us realize how strong we really are. Believe in yourself! We just need to learn to pick up from where we left of. Learn from the past. And the sun always shines tomorrow.

To my better half

You've painted my life with different colors,
when it was all black and white!

The virtue of love is not to find the perfect person...
but to love the imperfect person PERFECTLY ;)

To the love of my life... thank you for always being there for me... the reason for my being... the person who help me fulfilled my dreams...

"You were my strength when I was weak... You were my voice when I couldn't speak.... You were my eyes when I couldn't see....  You saw the best there was in me..."

Happy, happy birthday to my husband.  Love you forever!

Bathroom breaks

"You know you are a parent when going to the toilet becomes a spectator sport!"
When I was a kid, I used to go to my cousin's house for the weekend. My aunt and uncle got their printing press business just below their home. So no matter how late at night, we would spent time in the printing press folding papers. And I remember my aunt saying "I am so busy all day, I don't even have time to pee." I find that very funny since it will just take you 2-3 minutes at the most to pee... but now that I have my kids of my own, I understand what she was saying.

Where would your future take you?

"I see my path, but I don't know where it leads.
Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it."
~ Rosalia de Castro ~
I always wonder what my kids' future would be like. I am a nagging mom, simply because I want them to excel as best as they can. If I don't nag my son about doing his homework, he may end up in high school forever.

When I ask them what they want to be when they grow up, they can't give me a straight answer, yet.  I believe my son should be a sports caster or radio announcer or news reporter, simply because he loves to talk and he can talk non-stop.   I think he would also be a good movie director because he is a good critic on movies.

But the best is yet to come...  I will just have to wait and see what your future holds for you!

"The only time you will run out of chances is when you stop taking them."

Do you believe in this?  Opportunities will keep on coming to your door, it is a matter of whether you are going to open the door and welcome it in?  Or you are going to keep your door shut and be content with what you have.

Sometimes, change can be scary.  But without change, our lives will never move forward!  Do we really want to be stuck in the same path all our lives?  Or do we want to explore new paths to discover new places/things?

I'd say we open our doors and welcome opportunities!  I'd say we travel to the path other people won't even dare go to!

Countdown begins

One more month to go and it's family vacation time for us... Manila here we come...

Facebook or Blog

My blog readers had gone down in numbers... and I have stopped blog hopping because it is just too time consuming.  But I attribute this to Facebook. People update their Facebook more than their blogs now.

Yet, here I am, trying to revive my blog...  wonder how long it would last...
